I enjoy a lot of different films, in what I think is a very eclectic taste. This applies not only to movies, but books, music, people, places... But features as Laggies are always a sure thing: indie insightful productions that presents people so real that I feel like I know them for a long time.Everything made sense to me in this story. The friendship between a 25 old girl with some sophomore high school friends. They are so alike my own younger friends that there's was no way I wouldn't like them a lot. they are cute, incredible, so smart, funny, understanding, even if so clueless sometimes (as they are entitled to). Chloë Moretz Grace is great. Keira Kneightley and Sam Rockwell's chemistry is insane and unexpected. Insane. I would have never imagined it. And it is a joy to see. That butt graping was something else, I must say.
Rodrigo told me some days ago that I like a lot of movies with Keira Kneightley. It is true, and I hadn't noticed it: Pride & Prejudice (2005), Atonement (2007), Begin Again (2013), Last Night (2010), A Dangerous Method (2011), Never Let Me Go (2010) are some of my favorite movies. I remember first seeing her on Love, Actually (2003), another cherished film. Despite that, I'm not a fan per se - but there's no doubt that she knows how to choose her movies.
Yep, you got it right: I'm not a super fan of Pirates of the Caribean, sorry.
At the end I was happy when I realized that my oldest friendships still make so much sense to me, they have been a fundamental part of my life since the first years of high school. We changed, but we didn't grow apart, and I'm grateful for my beloved friends every day. However, I think that's important to say that I understand inadequacy, feeling this way constantly. This way, what the protagonist goes through is very familiar to me, although it hasn't happened on the same way as in this movie.
After the final credits, I immediately rewinded the movie and watched my favorite parts all over again. I couldn't part from those people so soon. And I cannot wait to see it again :)

Yes! YES! Lovely. Absolutely adorable! But also, as you said, very believable characters. Endearing. Captivating. Not at all over the top, quite down to earth, with good pace and good character development. Loved it. Sam Rockwell is once again brilliant. He's just too damn good. So charming, that bastard! Love the last scene. Sure is one to watch again and again.

Hehe, I was hoping you would love it as much as I did. Sam Rockwell is incredible - a fell in love with him at each scene. His line about how we think that being an adult would guarantee a place on the world is amazing. We are ever alone, there's no way. It sounds so sad, and it is in that moment, but it is also an amazing awareness of how we are not finished with things on any moment of our lives. We have to keep going, working miserably and strongly for happiness.
